They level both faith and int so they have access to all three.Dark Souls 3 offers a wide variety of character customization options to make the ideal character. What you are saying assumes that a pyromancer wouldnt have access to these spells because they would be using pyromancies, but this is the jack of trades. So doing the same build, they would get access to the same spells (invisibility) and more. Im arguing that a pyromancer starting class beats a sorcerer (and cleric) at their own build, due to the better stat allocation. Yes with invisibility spells I guess you could argue that you can avoid all damage altogether (though things dont always work out like that and good luck with it in pvp), but I don't think you get the topic. You can drop most enemies, some of which hit hard, before they get close to you whilst Cleric / Pyro are exposed to potential damage.Īs to your other point, yes the luck stat on those other starting classes is an annoying waste of points though I tend to roll the class I am playing. if you have equipped during cast you still get buff even if you swap to morions mid cast, and you're just straight up missing out on the best buff in the game(sunlight straight sword) but to each its own, you over here talking about scimitars and sht only time in the game I even use a melee weapon is Oceiros phase 2, regular mobs get free aimed from max distance w binoculars, I clear zones with only ashen estus flasks. I don't think sorcerer is viable starting class under any scenario if you're going for min/max. Originally posted by Zerg:If you're going for a magic build and not using Izalith Staff you're doing it wrong imo, and Izalith softcap is 45 faith/45 int. Izalith is for dark sorceries.Ģ) 45/45 only good when you go for very high sl (140 and above) at that point word "build" start losing its sens. If you're going for a magic build and not using Izalith Staff you're doing it wrong imo, and Izalith softcap is 45 faith/45 int. Sorcerer is for spell-casting buils that benefit from low vit/str starting values, but those are very few and need to be planned through in advance.
